Register A Car With RPCNB

Registering with RPCNB is a very simple. Below are the steps you need to complete to register your equipment with the Railroad Passenger Car Numbering Bureau.

Completed forms should be sent to: RPCX@RPCNB.COM

1. Review the SOP
2. Become an RPCA Member (If you are already a member than you are good)
3. Review FORM 00 on the Forms Page
4. Fill out and submit Form 01 on the Forms Page (You only have to do this for your first car)
5. Fill out Form 20 on the Forms Page (This tells us about your car)
6. Fill out Form 30 on the Forms Page (This helps us know how much your car weighs)
7. Provide RPCNB a copy of your insurance listing RPCNB as additional insured.
8. Provide RPCNB with a copy of the lastest air test for the car.
9. Provide RPCNB with proof of ownership of the car. A redacted Bill of Sale or Purchase Agreement is fine.
10. Pay the invoice when it shows up.
